Her favorite family activities include going on hikes, visiting local parks, and making new memories with her loved ones in the great outdoors.
Gracie Kayden Prater Death: The Car Crash of Gracie
Gracie Prater, a native of Flaherty, Kentucky, was killed in an automobile accident on May 13, 2022. Gracie was a passenger in a 2013 Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old when the event occurred on a roadway in Flaherty, Kentucky.
According to reports from the Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 3:50 pm on Bypass Road. A 2013 Ford Focus was traveling south when it collided with a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado that was making a left turn onto Bypass Road.
A Chevy pickup truck collided with a Ford Focus after the latter became disoriented in the incident and veered across the centerline into the northbound lanes.
Gracie, who was in the front passenger seat of the Ford Focus, tragically passed away at the scene of the accident despite the efforts of emergency responders and medical professionals.
The car’s 17-year-old driver was airlifted to UofL Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Fewer other persons were harmed in the collision.

An automobile accident took the life of Gracia Prater, a 16-year-old girl. She had already made a huge difference in her hometown even though she was only a student at Meade County High School.
Gracie excelled academically and was a dedicated member of the school’s choir and Future Farmers of America. Her work ethic was legendary, as was her commitment to her academics.
Gracie was a businesswoman in addition to her academic achievements. She ventured out on her own to found Soy Marvels, a manufacturer of artisanal soy candles and melts.
Gracie was able to successfully juggle her academic and professional commitments despite her hectic schedule. Gracie was frequently seen selling her wares at the Meade County Farmer’s Market.
She cared deeply about fostering local economies and advocating for environmentally responsible farming practices. Gracie also liked to spend time at the Hardin County Skateland, where she could practice her skating and hang out with her pals.

Gracie Prater was a treasured member of the community who was also loved by her parents and siblings. Gracie’s parents, Michael and Jessica, also welcomed a brother, Tyler, and a sister, Madison, into the world.
However, tragedy came when Gracie passed away, and the entire neighborhood was in mourning. Michael Prater, Gracie’s father, has been out of work for a year after being injured in a motorbike accident, presenting further difficulties for the family.
Gracie’s extended family was very big and they all adored her. Bob and Anna Bostic, Linda and Doug Lewis, and Dee Taylor and Tom Reesor were her grandparents.
Jamie Rae Bostic was her aunt, and Danny Eugene Prater Jr. was an uncle. Jacob and Christopher Gore are her cousins. Gracie was not the only family member to die away, unfortunately.
All of her ancestors have passed away before her: great-grandparents Thurman and Biddy Bostic, great-great-grandparents John and Louise Morrow, and great-grandfather Danny Eugene Prater Sr.
