Kris Dim Accident: Kris Dim is a household name in professional bodybuilding. As a kid, he endured constant mockery from his peers and educators due to his excessive thinness. Sports lifted his spirits, and he eventually set his sights on a bodybuilding career.

He finally broke through at the NPC USA Championships, placing an impressive sixth. Kris competed in the light-heavyweight category of the NPC USA 2003 and came out on top, earning him the coveted “Pro Card” after years of hard training and dedication.

Kris competed in the IFBB Mr. Olympia competition for the first time the following year and finished in 12th position.

He has appeared on the covers of multiple prominent magazines thanks to his remarkable body and dedication to the sport. Both FLEX and Muscular Development featured him on their surfaces.

Kris’s life was irrevocably altered on June 8, 2007, when he had an aortic dissection. After being rushed to the hospital, he underwent successful heart surgery. Unfortunately, his spinal cord was squeezed during surgery, causing a severe and permanent lesion.

Despite the devastating setback, Dim returned to competitive athletics two years later, thanks to his dogged determination and ambition. His willpower and resilience were admirable as he defied the odds and returned to the game.

The road to healing, however, was littered with more obstacles. Another operation in 2012 made Dim’s condition even worse, and he is now paralyzed below the waist. In addition, he began bodybuilding in 2019 and placed first in the Mr. Olympia competition and second at the Arnold Classic while competing in the wheelchair category.

He’s given up bodybuilding to focus on fitness in Elk Grove, California. For nearly a decade, he has been confined to a wheelchair.

Kris, a famous professional boxer, turned 45 this year. He was born in Cambodia on May 7, 1973. He and his family emigrated from Cambodia to Arlington, Virginia, when he was just four years old in search of better opportunities. The family relocated to Sacramento, California, when he was twelve.

Kris developed a deep interest in bodybuilding throughout his time in Sacramento. At age 15, he joined a professional gym, where he swiftly gained power and size while maintaining excellent fitness levels. He won the North Bay Bodybuilding Championships’ coveted teen class at seventeen.

In his early teens, professional bodybuilder Krisna “Kris” Dim began working out to improve his grip strength for wrestling. He entered the Arnold Classic for the first time in 2006 and finished a solid 14th.

Later that year, he entered and finished 10th in the Ironman Pro Invitational, his first professional triathlon. At the 2009 Mr. Olympia Europe competition, he showed off his talents and took third place, behind only the great bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman.

The bodybuilder had a fruitful professional career and made history as the first Asian to compete in the Mr. Olympia contest. His success led to features in prestigious U.S. bodybuilding magazines.

In the early 2000s, when he was at the height of his career, he preferred to work out with machines since they allowed him to target his muscles from angles that weren’t possible with free weights.

He has extensive knowledge of the importance of diet in competitive bodybuilding. He focused his diet on lean and unprocessed meals to promote muscle building and keep his body fat percentage low.
