Who Was Connor Sturgeon?
Connor Sturgeon, according to their inquiries, was employed by Old National Bank. Sturgeon worked as an intern for the bank for three years before getting hired in June of 2021. He was even promoted in April of 2022, as reported by ABC News.
According to investigators, Sturgeon left a note warning his parents that he planned to rob a bank. It is unclear whether or not his parents saw the memo before he started shooting people in the bank.

Louisville Shooting Four Victims
Thomas “Tommy” Elliott, “James” Tutt, “Joshua” Barrick, and “Juliana” Farmer were the names confirmed for the Louisville shooting victims. They were all employees of the same bank. Officer Nickolas Wilt of the LMPD was among the nine wounded; he was shot in the head and is currently in serious condition.
According to LMPD Acting Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel, Wilt is a new recruit from the police academy. On March 31, he finished college. She said that he was doing better after brain surgery but was still quite ill. UofL Health reports that three of the injured individuals have been released from the hospital.

A former classmate of Connor Sturgeon’s vouched for him, saying that he came from a respectable home and was a good person. Even the shooter’s companion, who is equally in shock, denied seeing any warning signs. Todd Sturgeon, Connor’s dad, used to be a head coach in the NBA. At the University of Indianapolis, Todd coached the men’s basketball team.
The previous head coach took his squad to the NCAA tournament five times. At his son’s school, he eventually became a coach and a history teacher. According to a story on his alma mater’s website, Todd Sturgeon left as coach at the University of Indianapolis in 2007 so that he could spend more time with his family.

Connor Sturgeon Age
The perpetrator of the horrific mass shooting in Louisville has been named as 25-year-old Connor James Sturgeon, originally from Greenville, Indiana. Sturgeon spent his high school years at Floyd Central High School in nearby Floyds Knobs.
Sturgeon moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama after graduating from Floyd Central in the spring of 2016. There, he allegedly learned about his dismissal from Old National Bank and made the choice to act. Sturgeon had previously told his parents and a buddy in a message about his plans to carry out a mass shooting.
He had previously mentioned suicidal ideas and a desire to kill as many people as possible inside the bank. Many people were traumatized by the shooting and are still grieving the loss of life. Joe Biden, the Vice President, was quick to express his condolences to the victims and their families and to urge Senate Republicans to act on gun reform.
