My Hero Academia season 7: Will it happen?

The seventh season of My Hero Academia has been officially announced. The tale from Khei Horikoshi’s original manga hasn’t been finished on screen, so that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. While we know that season 7 will be produced, the bigger question is whether or not it will be the final season of My Hero Academia.

It’s possible, considering the anime has nearly caught up to the manga at this point, though Studio Bones may want to take their time given the franchise’s massive success, and draw out the next installments a little longer.

If that’s the case, we can work on a condensed eighth season to tie up loose ends. If more information becomes available, we will be sure to update this page with it.

My Hero Academia Season 7: What to Expect?

Once the most powerful hero in the United States agreed to travel to Japan at All Might’s request, season seven of My Hero Academia will most likely kick off with the Star and Stripe storyline. Romi Park will be providing the voice of Star and Stripe, as confirmed by studio BONES.

She is known for her work as the voice of Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist and Hange Zoe in Attack on Titan. Tomura Shigaraki will take full control of All For One in just three days next season. Thus, All Might turned to heroes from other countries for help, and Star and Stripe decided on the spot to lend a hand.

Tomura is ready to fight back, though, for he is determined to do whatever it takes to help All For One seize the Quirk, New Order, from Star and Stripe.

Studio BONES might then adapt the next two arcs from the manga—the U.A. Traitor storyline and the Final War arc—into an animated series. The number of episodes indicated, however, will determine how much of the plot will be animated.
