In 2020, when the wars broke out, Latham was visiting his grandparents in Vineland, New Jersey. At the tender age of 17, he married and became legally independent. He also did time with the New Jersey National Guard as a private.
The problems with his neighbor’s several homes down began when he began sharing TikTok videos with his nearly 39k followers. In a similar vein, Latham flaunted his costly car collection online.

After a slew of violent recordings Zachary Latham posted online, he was indicted for the murder of his next-door neighbor. In addition to his motorcycles, Latham also had a collection of cars, and he was fond of posting videos of himself revving and otherwise abusing them on social media.
On April 6, 2020, Zachary had an encounter with his neighbor Catherine Durham over his speeding, and he recorded the exchange and uploaded it to TikTok.
Latham’s confrontational video with Catherine became viral on TikTok, amassing over 3 million views in a matter of days. Meanwhile, he began circulating the video and urging his supporters to visit Zachary’s area and harass the locals.
On May 4, 2020, Zachary was allegedly driving through the area when he swerved at Gage, who was riding a bicycle, with the intent of striking and killing him.
Catherine approached him, claiming she received a black eye from him. Latham, however, was not arrested or charged with any wrongdoing. The entire Durham clan, unarmed, proceeded to Latham’s residence.
According to the investigation, Zachary came out of the house armed with knives and a stun gun while his wife recorded the incident on their phone.
Timmy Durham was slain after an argument that began outside and moved into the garage. Reddit and other social media sites are flooded with the stabbing video.

Update on Zachary Latham’s case and verdict
In connection with the death of William “Timmy” Durham Sr., Zachary Latham has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, aggravated assault, and firearms offenses.
As was previously mentioned, tensions started when the Durhams accused Latham of dangerous driving and he posted evidence of their accusations on social media.
The Durham family’s attorneys said Zachary provoked Durham into a fatal fight for the sake of his own TikTok popularity.
The family’s attorneys tried to have Zachary charged with murder, but he claimed self-defense. Additional charges were filed against Catherine Durham and the couple’s two boys.
The trial stretched on for weeks, and the jury’s verdict didn’t help keep people’s attention. The case’s updated details will be available shortly.

Zachary Latham was found not guilty
Zachary Latham was acquitted, as reported by NJ. Yes, he was found not guilty. You already know that William T. Durham Sr.’s murderer, Latham, was apprehended and charged.
He met his end in 2020. After a lengthy dispute between the Lathams and the Durhams, William tragically passed away. Three weeks and many twists and turns later, the jury found Latham not guilty of all charges.
He was found not guilty of reckless manslaughter in the second degree and other offenses. Superior Court Judge Cristen P. D’Arrigo made some remarks after the jury had rendered its verdict. As the Judge has ruled,
This is a lose-lose situation. Mr. Latham, your defense was persuasive, but you must deal with the actions and repercussions of those days.
Judge Cristen elaborated further, I know there’s little consolation for the family members, but this is how our justice system functions. It’s a total loss with no possible winners. But the justice system here is fair and operates as it should.
